I haven't been in Poland at the end of 90s ( I worked in Poland off and on from 90-95) and haven't heard about Polocokcktail, but will ask about it. You really should give us the the straight story of what happened to your Mum and Dad (maybe you already have and I haven't been bothered to delve deeply enough into the archives). I, and I'm sure others, would love to hear it, and not just for sensationalist reasons – what did they do to be imprisoned/killed and why? I remember there was something called Polocoktail (??) that was re-introduced in the late 90s. According to what I heard it was a communist block simulacrum of Coke that was immensely popular with kids, but when they brought it back everybody realized that it actually tasted disgusting and it quickly sank into obscurity again.
